School Uniform
At Lawn Primary School we are very proud of our school uniform and believe that children who take pride in their uniform also take pride in themselves and their learning.
We ask all parents to support our uniform code by adhering to the following guidance:

Uniform can be purchased from any school uniform retailer.
Jewellery
Jewellery must not be worn to school. 1 pair of small studs to the lobe of the ear may be worn. All earrings are to be removed for P.E. - we do not allow tape to be used.
Please arrange ear piercing to take place in the summer holidays to allow time for healing out of term time.
Any child found wearing such jewellery will be asked to remove it.
Name Labels
Please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly marked with your child’s name. If clothes are labelled it makes it easier to return them. Name label stickers can be purchased from: https://www.mynametags.com/
Lost property
Lost property is collected and kept in the main reception area. Please speak to the school Office if your child has lost any items.
Where to purchase your child's school uniform
Brigade Ordering Service
Uniform is available to buy online from our supplier at www.brigade.uk.com. They offer a direct delivery to home service which, stock permitting, will take 10-14 working days for delivery excluding weekends and bank holidays. Alternatively, items can be delivered to school; please note that orders are held in a queue and printed on 15th & 30th of each month subject to term time Branded Uniform is not compulsory.
Summer ordering deadlines:
Last date to order for delivery into school before the end of the summer term is 15th June 2024.
The service will then switch to home delivery from 16th June – 15th September 2024.
There is no obligation to buy your child's uniform from Brigade. Brigade are our recommended uniform supplier but uniform can be purchased from any retailer and the school also has secondhand items for sale.
Secondhand Uniform
We understand that buying uniform for your children can be a costly exercise. With this in mind, we have set up a second hand uniform shop offering various preloved uniform items available for sale. This not only means we can offer uniform at a reduced price, but we are also addressing the environmental impact of throwing away wearable school uniform.
We currently have items including jumpers. cardigans, trousers, skirts, shirts, school shoes etc. in stock. If you would like to purchase any items please pop into in the office to see what we have available. Uniform costs £1.00 - £2.00 per item
Donations
We welcome any donations of school uniform that your child has outgrown, but do ask that these are in reasonable condition. Please bring donations to the school Office.
